As the Magnolia Show Home has recently opened up on our new development in Coventry, The Spires, we thought we’d give you a deep dive into the design choices. Our Marketing Co-ordinator in charge of the brief explains what to expect as you look around and why…

What was the theme for the Show Home?

At The Spires, The Magnolia has been thoughtfully designed to reflect modern family life, balancing warm, calming interiors with playful touches that celebrate growing families. This three-bedroom home embraces a soft neutral foundation, layered with pops of teal, blush pink and grounding black accents throughout. The result is a space that feels contemporary yet comforting, elevated, but entirely liveable.

Inspired by our ‘skies the limit’ message, the interiors subtly reference light, openness and possibility. From cloud motifs to airy styling and reflective finishes, there’s a quiet optimism woven through every room.

Was there a particular room you especially loved bringing to life?

Bedroom 3, the nursery! With probably the most direct nod to The Spires’ campaign message can be found in this bedroom. A stunning, soft nursery space, this room embraces delicate cloud motifs across the ceiling and styling, a subtle link to the ‘skies the limit’ concept.

Blush pink walls create warmth, while cream and neutral textures keep the space feeling light and soothing. Floating shelves display children’s books and keepsakes, reinforcing the sense of a home growing with its family.

It’s gentle. Hopeful. Designed for new beginnings.

How did you bring a sense of real, everyday living into the design?

Throughout The Magnolia at The Spires, there’s a clear focus on family living. Small but meaningful styling details, from children’s artwork to layered textures and playful pops of colour, making the home feel authentic rather than staged.

The warm neutral base provides longevity, while teal, pink and black accents add character and confidence. It’s modern without being stark. Family-focused without losing its refined finish.
